Comparison
Avalyz vs TestSprite
If you are a developer who wants end-to-end and API tests generated, re-run and repaired by an agent inside your editor or your pipeline, TestSprite is the better fit. [1] If you do not write test code and want an outside test of your published app, with a plain-language report and a PDF, Avalyz is the better fit.
Need by need
| Need | TestSprite | Avalyz |
|---|---|---|
| What is tested | End-to-end functional tests of the interface, and API tests. [1] | 13 test levels, each with its maturity stated (accessibility, performance, passive security and compliance checks…); your own journeys can be written in plain sentences or imported from Gherkin or CSV. |
| Method | A cloud agent explores the app, generates the tests and re-runs them, repairing them itself; it can be started from the editor (CLI, MCP) or from a staging address. [1] | A real browser visits your published address, at desktop and phone sizes; when a journey step no longer finds its element, a repair is proposed and applied only if you confirm it. |
| What you provide | A staging address is enough; it can also read code and product documents for context. [1] | The address of the published app, whichever tool built it. Optional: a test account (by default the test is read-only, and signing in is the one form it submits) and the address of your source code for the static, unit and component levels. |
| Report | A failure package (step, screenshot, DOM, likely cause, suggested fix), a video, pull-request comments. [1] | A plain-language summary, findings ranked by severity, the list of what was not tested, a PDF and a « Copy for my AI » version; CI scripts and a GitHub pull-request comment. |
| Price | Starter $19 a month (first month offered), Standard $39, Pro $69, Enterprise from $199. [2] | $9 a month (Perso), $19 (Pro) or $49 (Premium), no commitment. |
| Free tier | Free plan with 150 credits a month. [2] | 1 free tests a day without an account; 3-day Pro trial, no card. |
What Avalyz does not do
- No API test suite generated from your code: API, data and business checks are partial.
- With a test account, role-based journeys are listed, not played end to end.
- No native mobile app (iOS, Android): Avalyz tests web pages, at desktop and phone sizes.
